The road to November starts much earlier, beginning with candidate selection processes at the in-person caucus and county assembly on March 7, 2026 at Lange Hall in Westcliffe, where Democratic delegates will help determine which candidates appear on the June 30 Primary Ballot.

Custer County voters will have the opportunity to weigh in on a range of important offices — including U.S. Senate, U.S. House, Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, state legislative seats, and various county positions.

In order to appear on the June 30 Primary Ballot they must first either gather petition signatures or proceed through the caucus & assembly process. If there are certain candidates you support, make plans to attend our caucus & assembly on March 7, 2026, 8:45 am - 9:15 am check-in; 9:15 caucus and assembly.
