Good Trouble Rally: Honoring John Lewis

Honoring civil rights icon John Lewis by protesting the Trump administration's policies on immigration, healthcare cuts, and human rights to make "good trouble, necessary trouble" for democracy and justice. This rally was continuing Lewis's legacy of standing against injustice, with organizers emphasizing voting and peaceful resistance.

Labor Day March: Workers Over Billionaires

Monday, September 1, 2025 March from the Bluff to Altitude Fitness

Nationwide protesters, including 26 folks in Custer County (and more from their porches and cars) marched September 1, 2025, turning Labor Day into a day of action. Labor unions, grassroots organizers, and advocacy groups called out what they describe as a billionaire-driven “authoritarian, anti-worker agenda” under #DonaldTrump, with a focus on defending Social Security, healthcare, and workers’ rights. Signs and voices expressed concern over many issues.

From a small town to a global movement! On No Kings Day, nearly 200 passionate voices in Westcliffe, Colorado, united to denounce the reality show host turned self-proclaimed king. With just over 560 residents, our community shone brightly, fighting for democracy and the true spirit of America—freedom and unity. The red, white, and blue flew high as we joined nearly 7 million worldwide in this powerful protest for justice and equality!

Saturday, January 30, 2026 We had a great turnout! 84 strong, and lots of drive-by support! For those of you who could not be present but supported us in heart and spirit, thank you.
